Four Ivies Named to U.S. Women's National Hockey Team for Twelve Nations Invitational Tournament Series

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- USA Hockey announced today the members of the U.S. Women's National Team that will compete in the 2011 International Ice Hockey Federation Twelve Nations Invitational Tournament Series, and the team is set to feature four Ivy League players.
Current Harvard Crimson skaters Josephine Pucci and Jillian Dempsey and current Princeton Tiger Sasha Sherry were all named to the squad. Former Harvard palyer Julie Chu also made the team, which is coached by current Harvard head coach Katy Stone. Mark Hudak, head women's ice hockey coach at Dartmouth, will serve as Stone's assistant coach for the event.
The 2011 Twelve Nations Invitational Tournament Series will take place Aug. 24-31, in Vierumäki, Finland. The United States opens play Aug. 24 against Russia and goes on to play Japan, Switzerland, Canada, Sweden and Finland.
